There’s talk of Kelly Clarkson leaving daytime TV when her contract ends. Yesterday demonstrated why she needs to stay. Her show is a daytime gem.
Kelly invited Jack Black to surprise a cast member of Love on the Spectrum. Tanner Smith had said on a previous visit to the Kelly Clarkson Show that he was Jack Black’s “biggest fan.”
Jack Black was already in the 30 Rock building where Kelly tapes her show. He’s this weekend’s host of Saturday Night Live. He spoke from backstage as if it was a prerecorded video before surprising Tanner in person (quote) “I’m on the road with A Minecraft Movie, right now. But luckily, I have insane ninja Kung-fu powers, which means I’m going to see you right now when I come through these doors!”
Jack Black wished Tanner well on this new season of Love on the Spectrum. He also pledged to exchange phone numbers so that they could go together to the gym and lift weights. (The Wrap)
