Drake: Drops Three Albums — Including Diss Tracks Aimed at Kendrick on His Birthday
Written by Ariel Newbold on June 17, 2026
On May 15, 2026, Drake dropped not one — but three albums at once: Iceman, Habibti, and Maid of Honour, breaking 2026 streaming records in a single day. Fans had been teased with just the one (Iceman), so the triple drop was a full-on surprise. Iceman contains 18 tracks and includes features from Future and 21 Savage, while Habibti is more R&B-focused with Sexyy Red and PartyNextDoor, and Maid of Honour is dance-influenced with Central Cee and Popcaan.
On Iceman, Drake goes after Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, JAY-Z, A$AP Rocky, Pusha T, and Travis Scott. The key diss track is called “Make Them Pay,” where Drake takes aim at Kendrick with references to their highly publicized 2024 feud, calls out J. Cole for backing down, and fires at Rick Ross for turning against him after Drake claims he helped build his career. He also references JAY-Z — specifically calling back to the recurring debate of “dinner with Jay-Z or $500,000” — and ties in Roc Nation’s role in selecting Kendrick for the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show.
Kendrick Lamar turns 39 today, June 17 — and he’s out here celebrating a birthday while Drake’s entire album is dragging his name. The timing is either savage or coincidental, but the internet is absolutely on fire. Add the fact that when Kendrick’s Grand National Tour hit Toronto earlier this month, Drake didn’t show up — he did a livestream giveaway with Kai Cenat instead — and this beef is very much still alive.
