The Top 5 movies this weekend:

1. Deadpool & Wolverine – $18.3 million
2. Alien: Romulus – $16.2 million
3. It Ends With Us – $11.9 million
4. Blink Twice – $7.3 million
5. The Forge – $6.6 million

Deadpool & Wolverine returned to the top of the box office as a couple of new releases bombed. The Ryan Reynolds – Hugh Jackman superhero flick earned $18.3 million, taking its five-week total to $577.2 million.

Last weekend’s top movie, Alien: Romulus, dropped to second with $16.2 million.

The Blake Lively drama It Ends With Us remained in third with $11.9 million.

Director Zoe Kravitz’s thriller Blink Twice, starring Channing Tatum, opened in fourth with a disappointing $7.3 million, while the reboot of The Crow debuted in eight with only $4.6 million.

The Biblical drama The Forge was fifth.
