Chappell Roan cancelled a pair of weekend performances. She’d been scheduled as a headlining act at the All Things Go festival in New York and again on Sunday in Washington, DC. Chappell wrote (quote) “I apologize to people who have been waiting to see me but I am unable to perform. Things have gotten overwhelming, and I am really feeling it.” (Variety)

A New Mexico judge is expected to rule this week if the Rust armorer should be released from jail. The attorney for Hannah Gutierrez-Reed told Judge Mary Marlowe Sommer last week in a court hearing (quote) “We are asking for a dismissal on the same basis as this court dismissed Alec Baldwin’s case.” (The Hollywood Reporter)
