HOT 91.7 FM DIDDY: Trial Day 7 – Cassie’s Mom Testifies

Day 7 in the Diddy sex trafficking trial was a wild one.
His former assistant David James was back on the stand after answering a few questions on Monday. He recounted a harrowing incident where he told Diddy that he’d seen rival mogul (and fellow bad dude) Suge Knight at an L.A. restaurant. James says Diddy and a few other armed men jumped into a car to go on the hunt for Suge.
Also testifying on Tuesday was former male exotic dancer Sharay Hayes, who went by the nickname The Punisher. He said that Diddy hired him on multiple occasions to have sex with Cassie while he watched and gave directions. Asked whether he thought Cassie was enjoying herself, he said he didn’t know but that she would often wince or sigh at the frequency of Diddy’s directions. He also said that Diddy offered him illegal drugs, although he never accepted.
The most powerful testimony of the day came from Cassie’s mother, Regina Ventura. She discussed an E-mail that Cassie once sent her detailing blackmail threats Diddy made. Apparently he threatened to release some sex tapes that somehow involved rapper Kid Cudi. She also testified that she sent Diddy $20,000 because he was “angry” that Cassie had been with Cudi.
The day ended with the Homeland Security agent who led the raid on Diddy’s Miami estate a year ago, where he detailed the evidence found there — most notably loaded AR-15 rifles with their serial numbers scratched off.
Kid Cudi is expected to take the stand Wednesday or Thursday. (USA Today, TMZ)
