HOT 91.7 FM DIDDY: Day Two, Cassie Testifies

Cassie Ventura took the witness stand in the sex trafficking case of Sean “Diddy” Combs.
They dated “intermittently” for a decade. She sued him 18 months ago for rape and abuse. Diddy settled within 24-hours. He stared down Cassie as she walked to the witness stand. She will return today for more testimony.
Cassie tearfully detailed the “freak offs” that Diddy forced her to perform with male escorts. One of them she only knew by the name “The Punisher.” These sex parties for Diddy’s pleasure could last as long as four days. He provided drugs like Ecstasy, cocaine and ketamine to keep them awake. Cassie confessed she took the drugs to help “dissociate” because she felt “disgusting” and “humiliated”.
Diddy’s attorneys argued that these sex acts were consensual. Cassie denied that and explained how Diddy orchestrated every aspect (quote) “I had to look a certain way during freak offs. If I wasn’t doing my nails, I was getting a tan. The freak-offs became a job.”
Many have questioned why Cassie would stay a decade with Diddy. She told the jury that early in the relationship she was eager to please (quote) “When you’re in love with someone you don’t want to disappoint them.”
However, she eventually feared for her career and life. Diddy also held over her the home videos from the “freak offs” that could be used as blackmail.
The judge denied two defense requests. Cassie’s husband was allowed to be in court to support her even though he may be called to testify. Diddy’s team did not get their wish for Cassie to be seated on the witness stand before the jury entered the room (quote) “Pregnancy is beautiful and wonderful. It also is a source of potential sympathy.” (ABC News)
