HOT 91.7 FM A$AP ROCKY: Not Guilty

Tuesday afternoon in Los Angeles, a jury found A$AP Rocky “not guilty” on two felony counts of firing a semiautomatic weapon at a former friend. His defense team argued that it was only a “prop gun” and that the alleged victim perjured himself on the witness stand, which was a provable fact.
Upon learning the verdict, Rocky jumped into the arms of Rihanna. She posted to her Instagram Story (quote) “The Glory belongs to God and God alone. THANKFUL, HUMBLED BY HIS MERCY!” (People)
A$AP Rocky had rejected the prosecutor’s plea deal of 180-days behind bars and a lengthy probation. If he had been found guilty, Rocky faced 24 years in prison. He expressed his gratitude as the jurors walked out of the courtroom (quote) “Thank y’all for saving my life. Thank you. Thank y’all. You’re making the right decision.” (ABC News)
