Just To Be Clear !

Lizzo has been the talk of the town since she hit the scene. After unfortunately having law suits filed against her by her former employees she “dropped off the face of the earth” for a while leaving everyone to question what she’s been up to. Once she resurfaced she revealed that she was working on herself- body & mind. She had taken herself on a weight loss journey for the last five months and has seen a tremendous change. Now that she’s back on the same with boosted confidence and the people are talking again. Lizzo has never presented as shy and always advocated for self love and more importantly, herself.

Recently Yung Miami has been making her rounds promoting her newest drinking game. In an interview with Shannon Sharpe on ‘Club Shay Shay’ she used Lizzo’s current circumstance to illustrate an example of how women are pushed by society to change their bodies. She said, “Everybody was like, ‘Oh my God, she’s so fat.’ She looks so good now. Now it’s like, ‘Oh my God, ew.’ … Pick a side. What do you want?” Of course, nothing foul was said, though it doesn’t exactly take much for a quote to get clipped, taken out of order and turned into a talking point.

Lizzo decided to call up Yung Miami and ask her specifically to clarify what she meant. The conversation that was made while Lizzo was on live stream wasn’t very long, but was respectful and clear that Yung Miami meant no harm as it could’ve been interpreted. Lizzo simply wanted to be clear
