It’s that moment the Rihanna Navy has been not-so-patiently waiting for — new music from Rihanna!
Sure, it might not be the full length project that fans have been craving, but nevertheless, RiRi dropping new music for the first time in over three years is a big deal. The song is called “Friend of Mine” and it’s part of the soundtrack for the upcoming Smurfs animated movie, which she stars in and also serves as a producer on.
Rihanna posted a new trailer for the movie (which opens on July 18th) on her X account. Meanwhile, the song “Friend of Mine” dropped Friday.
