HOT 91.7 FM DIDDY: Trial Day 10 – Capricorn Clark

A former employee of Sean “Diddy” Combs took the witness stand to start week three of his sex trafficking trial. Capricorn Clark corroborated testimony by Cassie Ventura and Kid Cudi, who Diddy threatened to kill for dating Cassie.
Capricorn said that Diddy arrived at her home around 6 in the morning. He brandished a gun and asked why Capricorn had not told him about Cassie hooking up with Kid Cudi. Together, they went to Cudi’s home. Capricorn called Cassie to warn her of Diddy’s threat.
A few months later, she relayed the story to the president of Bad Boy Records. Capricorn testified he said not to worry about the incident (quote) “I told him that Puff kidnapped me with a gun and was going to kill Cudi.”
Capricorn Clark was dismissed from Bad Boy shortly afterward. She also recalled Diddy being suspicious of missing jewelry and submitting her to “five days of lie detector tests.”
She said under oath that she watched Diddy repeatedly kick Cassie in the fetal position. Capricorn never filed a police report for fear that Diddy might physically punish her, too.
Under cross examination, Capricorn said that Diddy gave Cassie preferential treatment in promoting her career despite lacking the talent of Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. She admitted that Cassie’s live singing “wasn’t the greatest.”
Prosecutors alerted the judge they are running ahead of schedule. They may need only five and not six weeks to question their witnesses. They anticipate a verdict before the Fourth of July holiday. (ABC News)
