Quavo & Offset: Back on a Record

Quavo released QRÖMELIFE, his third solo album, a 14-track project produced entirely by Pharrell. The standout is “Away.” It’s the first time the two surviving Migos members have been on a song together since 2021’s Culture III.

Timeline:

• June 2021: Culture III drops, the last album with all three members.
• Nov 2022: Takeoff is killed. Migos effectively ends amid rumors of tension between Quavo and Offset.
• 2023: The two reunite on stage for a Takeoff tribute at the BET Awards, but the tension was still visible.
• May 2026: The pair reunite in the studio and tease a Migos comeback.
• Late Sept 2026: Quavo throws a surprise listening session in LA. Offset shows up and stands beside him while “Away” plays.
• Sept 29: Quavo says Takeoff’s death was the turning point that dissolved the friction with Offset.
• Oct 2: The album drops.
• Oct 4: Offset announces his own album GMFU for October 23, with a blunt message to everyone who abandoned or doubted him.

Quavo says he and Offset plan one final Migos album using previously recorded Takeoff vocals, plus a tour. It’s expected in 2027.
