HOT 91.7 FM SABRINA CARPENTER: Alice in Wonderland Musical

Sabrina Carpenter will produce and star in a movie musical based on the Lewis Carroll classic, Alice in Wonderland. 
In the story, Alice falls down a rabbit hole and enters a “fantastical and nonsensical world of talking and human-like animals.”
The script writer and director, Lorene Scafaria, was responsible for the Jennifer Lopez crime drama, Hustlers.
Another producer is Marc Platt, whose credits include Legally Blonde, La La Land plus the movie musicals Wicked and Wicked: For Good.
Disney created an animated Alice in Wonderland. Tim Burton directed a live-action film with Johnny Depp, Anne Hathaway, Helena Bonham Carter and Mia Wasikowska as Alice. (The Hollywood Reporter)
