Memphis rapper Pooh Shiesty (real name Lontrell Williams) blew up in 2021 off his mixtape “Shiesty Season” and the Lil Durk-assisted hit “Back In Blood,” but that same year he shot a security guard at a Miami strip club and did over three years in federal prison, coming home in October 2025.

His freedom didn’t last — he was arrested again in April 2026, this time accused alongside his father and fellow rapper Big30 of a wild scheme: federal prosecutors allege they lured Gucci Mane to a Dallas studio in January and forced him at gunpoint to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his 1017 Records deal, making off with roughly $450K in cash and jewelry. He’s been denied bond repeatedly and could face life if convicted.

Despite all that, his album “All Eyes On Shiest” dropped August 7 with features from GloRilla, Sexyy Red, and Big30 — and debuted at No. 7 on the Billboard 200 with zero promo, no shows, no interviews. Fans carried it themselves.
