The BET awards is celebrating their 25th Anniversary this June and Kevin Hart is set to host! This years show premiers Monday, June 9, 2025 on BET. Kevin took to Instagram in a video ad staged as a run through to break the news calling it “cultures biggest night” and a “black tie event” this year to celebrate. The ad paid homage to Jennifer Hudson’s spirit tunnel (he thanked her) and seemingly a joke toward Chris Browns recent dilemma being stuck in a harness during one of his shows.
While the news is still fresh responses are rolling in – mostly excitement. This will be Kevin Hart’s second time hosting the award show (2011).
