HOT 91.7 FM WICKED: Mattel ‘Deeply Regrets’ XXX-Rated Link

There’s a misprint on boxes containing Mattel’s Barbie dolls modeled after the characters in the movie musical Wicked.
The PG film’s official website is WickedMovie.com. Mattel failed to add “movie” when printing the URL on the back of the Barbie and Hot Wheels boxes.
Wicked.com is an adult website.
Mattel released a statement on Sunday (quote) “We deeply regret this unfortunate error and are taking immediate action to remedy this. Parents are advised that the misprinted, incorrect website is not appropriate for children.”
Target pulled the packages from their shelves. Amazon will discontinue sales as are Walmart, Macy’s, Kohl’s and Best Buy. (The Hollywood Reporter)
