Jamie Foxx has not lost a step despite suffering a “brain bleed that led to a stroke”. That’s the “medical complication” from the spring of 2023 followed by three weeks in a coma and brain surgery. Foxx woke unable to walk.
He shares those details and much more in his streaming Netflix special, What Had Happened Was. While in physical rehab, Jamie Foxx kept focused on the future (quote) “If I can stay funny, I can stay alive.”
One of the funnier moments in the special has Foxx behind the piano singing how this health scare changed him. For six years he dated Katie Holmes and his daughters have white mothers. Foxx jokingly sang (quote) “Sisters, I’m here to tell you, I’ve been cured. I’ve been cured of everything, no more white girls. I’m serious, no more white girls. No more white girls. No more. No more white girls … in public.”
He also joked about Sean “Diddy” Combs freak offs (quote) “I left them parties early. I was out by 9, something don’t look right. It’s slippery in here.” (The Wrap)
CNN teased the first interview with one of Diddy’s white party survivors, who claimed to be drugged and sodomized.
