Hilary Duff confirmed the song “We Don’t Talk” on her new album is about sister, Haylie Duff.

It’s been years since Hilary and Haylie were photographed together. “We Don’t Talk” lyrics describe siblings with a complicated relationship and are no longer on speaking terms. Hilary said dozens of people have shared how the song is relatable.

Hilary told CBS Mornings (quote) “I don’t know if Haylie will hear it. This is a personal part of my life that doesn’t get to stay personal. So, I might as well say how it is for me. I’m not trying to say anything bad. It’s literally just my experience.” (Entertainment Weekly)
