The newest billionaire, according to Bloomberg, is Selena Gomez. She’s worth an estimated $1.3 billion.
The 32-year-old’s Rare Beauty makeup line has propelled her financial empire. Selena becomes one of the country’s youngest female self-made billionaires thanks to her music, acting, the beauty brand and being an Instagram influencer to more than 400 million followers.
She launched Rare Beauty five years ago. It’s become wildly popular. Last year, annual revenue reached $350 million. Without Rare Beauty, she’s worth “only” a quarter-million.
