Khalid [pr: kuh-LEED] confirmed that he is gay on Friday after being outed. Another R&B musician accused Khalid of giving him “really bad” gay sex.
Khalid responded by tweeting a rainbow flag emoji and three exclamation points, with the words, “There y’all go. Next topic please. LOL.” His message has been viewed more than 20 million times.
He also told his 4.5 million followers (quote) “I got outed and the world still continues to turn. Let’s get this straight (lmao) I am not ashamed of my sexuality! In reality it ain’t nobodies business! But I am okay with me. Love y’all.” (Billboard)
