DIDDY: Rejects “Last Chance” Plea Deal
Written by Ariel Newbold on May 2, 2025
At his final pre-trial hearing, Sean “Diddy” Combs rejected a last-chance plea deal. His trial on federal sex trafficking charges will start next Monday with jury selection from 150 potential jurors.
Opening statements expected on May 12th. Prosecutors claim that Diddy operated his business empire as a criminal enterprise. He coerced men and women into drug-fueled “Freak Off” sex parties with the promise of helping their showbiz aspirations. Diddy also threatened violence or to end their careers to keep them compliant.
Key witnesses expected to testify under oath include his ex-girlfriend Cassie Ventura. A hotel surveillance tape will be introduced in court as evidence of Diddy’s violent temper to control his victims. Defense attorneys and prosecutors predict that Diddy’s trial could take up to 10 weeks. (People)
