Young Thug Scores Legal Victory as Judge Orders Return of Seized Jewelry

Give that man back his jewels. Young Thug just notched another legal win for his ongoing efforts to reclaim possessions seized during his 2022 arrest.
According to reports from our friends at The Jasmine Brand and other media outlets that cover the culture, a Georgia judge has ruled that the state must return a portion of the luxury jewelry confiscated during the raids that led to his arrest in May 2022.
Get this, the items, part of a $149,426 collection that included cash, firearms, and high-end accessories, are now set to be returned to the rapper.
Nothing to sneeze at.
Here’s some details about what he had seized:
Among the pieces being returned are a Rolex Datejust engraved with “King Slime,” a diamond cross pendant, a necklace adorned with green jewels, a diamond tennis necklace, and a pair of diamond stud earrings. Rafaello & Company, the jeweler believed to have supplied the items, has also regained ownership of the pieces.
Still, it remains unclear whether he will recover the cash, firearms, or vehicles—including two Mercedes Benz AMG GTs, a 2022 Chevrolet Corvette, and a 2022 Porsche 911—that were also seized.
Sheesh.
ICYMI, the rapper, whose real name is Jeffery Lamar Williams, was arrested in 2022 as part of a sweeping indictment targeting alleged gang activity.
His case has since ended with Thugger having time served and pleading guilty without having to go down for any additional prison time. Some called it a win for Thug.
Now that the trial is over, Young Thug has been steadily rebuilding the pieces of his career.
You may have noticed, since the start of 2025, he has been back in the studio, collaborating with artists like Lil Baby and Future on the track Dum, Dumb, and Dumber. There’s also speculation that he may be working with Quavo, as behind-the-scenes footage of Quavo’s upcoming single, Trappa Rappa, featured Thugger. What’s more, the Atlanta rapper is gearing up for his first major performance since his release, headlining the third day of Belgium’s Les Ardentes Festival on July 5th.
