WENDY WILLIAMS: ‘I Am Not Cognitively Impaired’

Written by on January 17, 2025

Wendy Williams spoke with Charlamagne Tha God and The Breakfast Club crew about being treated unfairly in her conservatorship. She’s been diagnosed with dementia and placed in a facility for the impaired and elderly.

She spoke by phone with the help of her niece. Wendy said (quote) “I am not cognitively impaired. I feel like I’m in prison. I’m in this place where the people are in their 90s, 80s and their 70s. There’s something wrong with these people here on this floor.”

Her niece, Alex Finnie, shared the “emotional abuse” that Wendy suffers in this facility. Her family cannot phone her. Wendy must initiate calls. The home does not allow residents to have internet access. Wendy feels trapped in a tiny room and fed seven pills daily for a reason she doesn’t know.

One thing that Wendy Williams does know she told The Breakfast Club (quote) “Diddy will go to prison for life. I knew about Diddy back in the day. And Diddy done.” (Variety)
