HOT 91.7 FM SOULJA BOY: Jury Reached Verdict

The jury reached a verdict Wednesday afternoon in the civil lawsuit against Soulja Boy. His former personal assistant accused him of sexual abuse.
The verdict is scheduled to be read Thursday morning in a Los Angeles courtroom. Soulja Boy’s accuser is asking for $73 million in damages.
Court reporter Meghann Cuniff tweeted (quote) “When the jury asked of damages, ‘How do we calculate this?’ it’s safe to assume they’ve found liability on at least some claims.”
Soulja Boy’s accuser said that over a two-year period she was the victim of “sexual battery, rape, assault, false imprisonment and emotional distress.” He denied the accusations. Soulja Boy called her allegations “disgusting” while on the witness stand in his defense. (Complex)
