LeBron James became the first player in NBA history to surpass 50,000 total points across the regular season and playoffs, hitting the milestone with a first-quarter three-pointer.
He didn’t stop there, finishing with 32 points, eight rebounds, six assists, five three-pointers, two blocks, and a steal to lead the Lakers to their seventh straight win, defeating the Pelicans 136-115.
The victory marked LeBron’s 1,001st career regular-season win, tying Tim Duncan for fourth all-time. Luka Dončić, who contributed 30 points, 15 assists, and eight rebounds, praised LeBron’s longevity, saying, “He might get to 70K.”

Dončić also made history, becoming just the fourth Laker to record a 30-point, 15-assist game, joining Magic Johnson, Jerry West, and LeBron himself. The Lakers’ new star duo continues to dominate, setting records along the way.
