DRAKE: Quietly Drops Claims Against UMG

Drake is quietly dropping some of his explosive claims against Universal Music Group.
Last month, Drizzy sued the label for defamation over Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” Specifically, Aubrey took issue with the fact that the smash hit record allegedly has lyrics “containing false and defamatory accusations of paedophilia.”
But on Friday, UMG’s lawyer requested the delay of an upcoming pretrial conference, in order to give the court time to consider a yet-to-be-filed motion to dismiss the case entirely. The label’s lawyer also claims there was separate correspondence wherein the “Plantiff has agreed to withdraw certain key allegations in his complaint.” (HipHopDX)
