The animated Moana sequel should earn another $60 million. Also this weekend, Wicked is on pace for $32 million, plus $15 million for the Gladiator sequel.

There’s one entrant from India: Pushpa 2 – The Rule is a foreign-language crime drama. This sequel has been called a “wild action-packed extravaganza.” The plot centers on a psychotic police officer’s battle with a mafia kingpin. Ticket presales for Pushpa 2 suggest a debut of $10 million.

Two other arrivals this weekend will struggle to earn $5 million. Rachel Zegler stars in an R-rated horror comedy conceived by Saturday Night Live alum Kyle Mooney. Y2K occurs on the night of 1999 New Year’s Eve. Werewolves concerns a worldwide cataclysmic event when a Supermoon triggers a “werewolf gene” in humans.
