TYLER PERRY: Buying Majority Stake in BET

Tyler Perry is in talks to buy a majority stake of BET Media Group, Variety reports.
The billionaire mogul already owns a minority stake in the company and channel, which airs most of his shows.
Though insiders say the deal hasn’t closed and that fellow mogul Byron Allen is also interested in buying BET. Allen already owns several local TV stations as well as The Weather Channel.
