Today in Florida is “Hulk Hogan Day.”
Governor Ron DeSantis issued the proclamation for the state-wide honor. Flags in Florida are to be flown at half-staff. The Governor said (quote) “Hogan’s larger-than-life personality will be missed. The ‘Hulkster’ was a true Floridian through and through.” (Tampa Bay Times)
The Pinellas County (Florida) coroner released the body of Hulk Hogan to the family. The pro-wrestler died from an acute heart attack. The forensic center also detected Chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), which is a slow progressing blood cancer.
Hulk’s body will be cremated. His memorial service is scheduled for next Tuesday, August 5. (Us Weekly)
