HOT 91.7 FM JAY-Z: Lawyer Addresses Paternity Claims

Jay-Z is looking to put the paternity claims to bed for good — legally speaking.
In case you missed it, for years now, there’s been a now-adult man who alleges that Mr. Shawn Carter is his biological father after his mom hooked up with Hov in the 90s. While he has repeatedly denied Rymir Satterthwaite’s claims, the guy who says he’s the mogul’s secret son isn’t giving up without a fight — doing everything in his power to try and force a paternity test. He says that’s been challenging due to Carter allegedly “exploit[ing] legal systems in multiple jurisdictions to suppress [the] paternity claim and prevent legal accountability.” Rymir even claims he was shot half a dozen times in an attempt to “silence him.”
Late last week, Jay had his lawyers respond the federal suit against him. They said, “The fabricated allegations and claims have been addressed — and rejected — in multiple other courts and [Satterthwaite’s] continued harassment of [Jay-Z] and disregard of those orders has already resulted in a contempt order,” calling it “just the latest” in a “decades-long harassment” campaign.
